The Fountain of Poise Organization conduct the following activities to satisfy the identified strategic aim.

  1. Engage the community, schools and churches on Gender Based violence issues through dialogues, sensitization, presentations, further come up with ways of combating or minimizing this issue at hand. We collaborate with other NGO’s that share the same objective, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and the Deputy Prime Minister’s office as the responsible ministry on Gender issues.

  2. To provide education on sexual and Reproductive health Rights (SRHR) and Life skills training  for children in schools, churches and communities with the help of both Ministry of health and education.

  3. Decentralization of services to rural areas, on issues around GBV, SRHR, Teenage pregnancy.

  4. Protect and advocate for the rights of children and young adults.

MISSION STATEMENT

To empower and advocate for young people’s health and rights, to enhance their meaningful participation in decision making concerning their lives. Moreover, encouraging them to become better future leaders and change makers in their communities and world at large.

GENERAL AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  1. Engage communities, schools and churches on Gender Based Violence dialogues.

  2. To provide education on GBV, SRHR , Teenage pregnancy issues and Life skills.

  3. Protect and advocate for the rights of children and young adults.

  4. Provide counseling to both children and young adults affected by socio-economic issues.

  5. Mentor children and young adults.

  6. Distribute dignitary packs to underprivileged girls and young women
